I have a vague obsession with Spanish cooking projects. Note: This does not mean I am obsessed with cooking. I cook things once, just to prove I can. Then, I go back to eating take-out falafel oven-roasted vegetables for dinner until I feel “inspired to do something more complicated”. Mercado Anton Martin
Today I went and explored at Mercado Anton Martin on Calle Atocha in Madrid. For me, this activity checked several boxes. First, if you read my last post about cooking dinner, you know I have been searching for something to eat besides the olives in my vodka some culinary inspiration. Second, I’m always trying to eat-healthy-live-healthy-breathe-healthy. (Not trying hard, mind you. But trying. Easy Fun Dinner Recipes
After drinking 2 bottles of wine last night careful thought, I made a pledge this morning: stock up on easy, fun dinner recipes. I love like know how to cook, but I have fallen into a boring routine. On Sunday night I cook a big pot of pasta, throw in a bunch of vegetables, and make 3-4 portions to eat during the week. Reasonably healthy but totally un-fabulous. It’s time to shake things up.
